The Centre d’Études Alexandrines (CEAlex) has now published an online resource of the coins from excavations by the Centre: https://coins.cealex.org/.

At present the coins from the CEAlex excavations 1994-1997 at the Cricket Ground are online. More excavation sites will be added soon.
The nearly 300 coins published so far range from the Hellenistic to Byzantine periods. Many have been linked to portals based on the Nomisma vocabulary and ontology, primarily Ptolemaic Coins Online, where the excavation coins are displayed with findspots (e.g. http://numismatics.org/pco/id/cpe.1_2.B196).
The resource is based on the Numishare software developed by Ethan Gruber.
