The Call for Papers and Posters is now open for the European Coin Find Network sessions on 17-18 September 2026.

The sessions will be dedicated to the presentation of research on coin finds of all periods, with particular attention to digital methodologies, innovative tools for the analysis of numismatic records, and strategies for public communication and outreach. The call is open to all scholars. The preferred language for papers and posters is English, but papers in Italian should be accompanied by a PowerPoint in English.
The proceedings of the ECFN sessions will be published according to modalities that will be communicated during the conference.

Applications should be sent by e-mail to info@13ecfn-nomisma.org by 31st March 2026.
Proposals should fall within one or more of the following themes:
- coin finds with a digital aspect;
- applications of AI in numismatics;
- digital applications for research, data management and analysis;
- public outreach and communication of coin finds and collections.
PAPERS
Oral presentations should not exceed 20 minutes.
Authors are invited to submit the title of the paper, an abstract (max. 300 words), name and institutional affiliation of the author(s), and an e-mail contact.
POSTERS
A poster session with a poster slam is planned for short presentations of ongoing projects, tools, datasets, digital infrastructures, case studies, and methodological experiments. Authors are required to submit the title, an abstract (max. 300 words), name and institutional affiliation of the author(s), and an e-mail contact.
Posters must be in A1 format (vertical/portrait). The presenters will be responsible for printing, and a predefined template will be provided.
EVALUATION AND COMMUNICATION
As the number of contributions will be limited, all proposals will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee.
Notification of acceptance will be sent to the proposing authors by e-mail.
