The call for papers is now open for the 10th Joint Meeting of the European Coin Find Network and Nomisma.org and the 2nd BulgNR TOGETHER in Sofia, Bulgaria on June 19th-23rd, 2023.
The Faculty of History at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, The European Coin Find Network (ECFN) and the Nomisma.org project are pleased to announce the call for papers for the international conference
10th Joint ECFN and Nomisma.org Meeting &
2nd Bulgarian Numismatic Readings:
Traditional Numismatics and Digital Perspectives
The focus of the conference is on traditional numismatic studies of coin finds (Greek, Celtic, Roman, Medieval) and their interactions with modern digital technologies. The program will include four working days, organized in several consecutive sections with breaks for short trips to local points of interest within the city of Sofia (ancient Serdica). Also, a full-day trip to the archaeological site of Heraclea Sintica, the Blagoevgrad Museum of History, and the Rila Monastery is planned.
The participants may choose between the following program sections:Posters are also welcome (format A0: 841 x 1189 mm, portrait).
The official conference languages are English, German, French, Italian, and Bulgarian (for the BulgNR participants).

The deadline for submitting proposals is 31/10/2022.
All proposals will be peer-reviewed and the applicants will be notified about acceptance within the deadlines announced on the conference webpage.

There is no fee for participation in the conference.
